Abstract: The basis light-front quantization is based on the light-front Hamiltonian formalism. It offers a first-principles approach to non-perturbative quantum field theory (QFT), especially the mass spectrum of hadrons. The basis approach retains explicitly symmetries of the system and could lead to significant reduction of numerical efforts. We review recent progress within the basis light-front quantization approach. We emphasis on the applications of the charmonium light-front wavefunction in deep inelastic scattering and ultra-peripheral heavy-ion collisions.

报告人简介:陈光耀博士,2006年毕业于hg8088皇冠登录入口应用物理学专业,同年保送留校读研。2008至2013年在德州A&M大学物理系学习,2013年获理学博士。之后先后于德州AM大学,爱荷华州立大学做博士后研究员。主要从事重离子碰撞以及光前量子化相关研究。
